The North Carolina Provisional Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church will be held starting on June 20, 2024. I will be in Winston-Salem on the 19th for some leadership meetings. I invite your prayers for the conference and the delegates. Our delegate is Joyce Welch. 

We will have business to do, but a large amount of time will be spent in worship and teaching. The conference is not only for business but also is church, particularly for the clergy. It is a time for us to be in worship instead of leading, to hear the words of Jesus Christ through the teachings of others, and to fellowship with our brother and sister clergy. It is a time of gathering, greeting, and eating together. It is nourishment for the soul. Oh and there is some business to be done also. Therefore, pray for the Conference, the Clergy, the Laity, and the Leaders. Pray for revival in the hearts of all who are in attendance so that the kingdom of God may grow, Christ be praised, and the church enlivened.

I will be back Sunday, and we will continue with the Study of the Catechism at 9:20 am, and we will learn from Jesus as we hear the Parable of the Prodigal Son in worship.
