“There Is Only One Way”

Think of the richest person you can possibly imagine.  Think of that person owning the largest, most beautiful house you have ever seen.  On the grounds is an incredible garden, an awesome race track with the fastest race cars you’ve ever seen, farm animals, pets, whatever it is that you enjoy the most.  Inside is the biggest, most high-tech kitchen, the largest most advanced TV in the world, and the largest game room you could imagine. 

Picture whatever it is that you dream about in a home - this one has it all. 

One rich person lives there and owns all this. Now this rich person decides to give people the chance of a lifetime – the chance to come live in his house for free with access to all the toys and cars and games and food you’d ever want. 

He comes up with a process by which someone can come live in this house with all this stuff and have all these fun things.   He creates a way that you can have this chance of a lifetime, but only if you follow his process exactly. 

Would you follow his process?  Or would you look at his process and say I am sure there is a better way.  I know a shortcut.  I can get around this process and get this house easier and quicker. 

Even though all these thousands of other people are following the process that was set up so they can come live in this house, you think you are really smart so you know you can get this house by taking a shortcut.  By following your own process.  By doing what you think is best. 

Do you think you would gain access to that house by following your process and not his? 

God has created a process by which you can gain access to Him.  A way in which you can live in His house in Heaven – but only if you follow His process.  And that process, that way to Him, is only through Jesus. 

We can never know better than God.  We can never find a shortcut to Heaven.  We can never follow any other process except the one He created. 



Jesus is the only way.
