Fear

What are you afraid of? 

I am not talking about phobias like my manic fear of those eight legged things. I am not talking about having every light in the house because of being afraid of the dark.  I am not talking about refusing to bungee jump because of fear of heights.

What things are you afraid of in life?

Afraid of failing at your job?  Afraid of never getting married?  Afraid the cancer will win the battle in your body?

These are real and complex fears that can overtake us.  Fear that won’t allow us to see a future that we can’t picture.  Fear that prevents us from taking steps to fix our lives because we think, “what if” those steps may not work. 

….that famous question:  What if?

What if you believed God is beside you, walking next to you, carrying you, guiding you, helping you? What if you believed that God has the answer to your situation? What if you believed that God can see the outcome that you just can’t see right now?

What if you were no longer afraid because all your fears were given to Him? 

Try that today.  Try it and see how you can erase those fears, because you trust in Him.
