More Than Conquerors

Nothing is too powerful for our Lord

Hi Church!

Yesterday we wrapped up the series on New Beginnings with talking about Saul who became Paul.  Saul was the worst of the worst as far as sinners go - he sought out Christians to persecute them, put them in prison and even kill them.  But when he met Jesus everything changed.  Because it is not the size of the sin that determines the ability to be saved, but the size of the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus.

This week we will start a new series in Ephesians called From Dead to Alive to Unified.  Also this Sunday night from 6pm - 7pm we have our Charge Conference.  I really hope to see all of you there!

Devotion:

Each of us may face challenges in our life.  Sometimes these challenges may feel overwhelming.  How often have we thought we just can’t get through it?  How often have you just felt like things would never get better?

How many Goliath’s have you faced in your life?

And then how many of those Goliath’s have been conquered by the power of God?

The answer is all of them.  Nothing is too powerful for our Lord.  There is nothing this world can do to us to break us fully - it sure tries though!  The devil tries hard to break us.  He will pile things on over and over - but every single time - the Lord overcomes.

When things feel like they are too much, when the challenges become overwhelming, when life just isn’t going the way we planned - look to Him.  Because
we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.
