God Gave us Science

When we speak of God’s truth claims, we are talking about what God says about Himself and the commands He gives his people

As we wrap up the Solutionist Series, we look forward to a new series called “Truth Claims.”  In the Scriptures, we see God speaking into the world universal truths of science.  They call these laws, such as Newton’s laws of Motion, the First and Second Law of Thermodynamics, etc.  These laws then become the foundation for other research.

When we speak of God’s truth claims, we are talking about what God says about Himself and the commands He gives his people; they expose the truth to us.  The most critical truth claim in scripture comes from Jesus in John 14:6 when He says: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one can come to the Father except through me.”

Over the next several weeks, we will explore several truth claims from the biblical text that relate to God’s nature and His relationship with us.

I look forward to sharing each Sunday with you!

Peace,

Pastor Burt
