 Bio: Dr. Shannon Warden

        Shannon Warden is a licensed professional counselor who has worked with hundreds of families over the past 20 years. She is a faculty member in the Department of Counseling at Wake Forest University, where she teaches and supervises counselors in training. She also has a small private practice through Triad Baptist Church. Shannon recently co-authored a parenting book titled Things I Wish I’d Known Before We Became Parents (Northfield, 2016) with her long-time friend and mentor, Dr. Gary Chapman. Their next family life book will be out in June 2019. Shannon and her husband Stephen have been married for 20 years and have three children: Avery, 13, Carson, 7, and Presley, 5.
